As an Infrastructure Architect/Engineer you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing our infrastructure and ensuring that our platforms are scalable, resilient and efficient. You will use your expertise in Kubernetes and automation to design and improve our self-hosted environments, playing a critical role in delivering exceptional SaaS services.

Your area of responsibility

  • Design and implement a highly available and scalable infrastructure architecture focusing on automation and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Development, maintenance and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for the seamless provision and management of our services in different environments.
  • You will lead the automation of our infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes and ensure a consistent and efficient development workflow.
  • You will monitor and analyze system performance, and suggest and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • You will work closely with the development teams to ensure the infrastructure matches the application requirements, focusing on scalability, security and performance.
  • You keep up to date with new technologies and trends in infrastructure architecture, Kubernetes and automation and integrate best practices into our environment.
  • You will provide technical leadership and support to team members by fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job requirements

Your profile that convinces us

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure architecture and engineering, with a demonstrated focus on automation and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Very good knowledge of the administration of Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python).
  • In-depth understanding of CI/CD methods and tools (e.g. GitLab CI).
  • Good knowledge of network security, database architecture and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to methodically tackle complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with proven experience of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and infrastructure as code.
