About Us

We are an innovative company that works with advanced technologies to ensure the security and authentication of our users. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) who specializes in real-time data analysis for fraud prevention.

Your everyday work

  • Design and implement real-time data analytics to detect and prevent user authentication fraud attempts.
  • Apply advanced machine learning models to identify threats early and learn continuously.
  • Processing and analyzing Json-based data formats to model and assess fraud risks.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to improve security mechanisms.
  • Optimizing existing fraud detection models and adapting to new threats.
  • Working with web APIs, https protocols and understanding authentication flows based on SAML and OAuth2 flows.

Job requirements

Your area of responsibility

  • Data Analysis & Modeling:
    • Analyze large-scale data from user authentication, access logs, and system events to detect trends, anomalies, and security threats.
    • Build predictive models to identify potential security breaches, fraudulent access attempts, or abnormal user behavior.
    • Use data to optimize identity verification processes and improve user experience (e.g., adaptive authentication based on user behavior patterns).
  • Machine Learning & Algorithm Development:
    • Develop and implement machine learning models for real-time threat detection, anomaly detection, and behavioral analytics.
    • Apply unsupervised learning techniques (e.g., clustering, anomaly detection) to identify suspicious behavior in authentication patterns.
    • Leverage supervised learning for fraud detection, risk scoring, and automated decision-making in the IAM process.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams:
    • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements to our IAM platform.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of A/B tests to validate new features and workflows.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize system performance, security policies, and user authentication flows.
  • Visualization & Reporting:
    • Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate key findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of machine learning models in production and recommend improvements.

Your profile that convinces us

  • Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a comparable field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala for data analysis and model development.
  • Strong background in machine learning, including experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for data querying and manipulation.
  • Several years of professional experience as a data scientist, especially in real-time data analysis and fraud prevention.
  • Profound knowledge in machine learning, especially in the implementation and optimization of models for anomaly and threat detection
  • Very good knowledge of Json data processing and analysis.
  • Very good software development skills
  • Experience with https protocols and understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud architectures based on Kubernetes.
  • Team player, strong communication skills and ability to solve complex problems.
